Oscar Wilde on Reading a Book Over and Over Again #reading #oscarwilde

“If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.”

–Oscar Wilde

I’ve read one of Wilde’s books more than once, The Portrait of Dorian Gray. I’ll do that with some of the classics, to see how I think differently about them as an adult compared to reading them in high school. I read The Fall of the House of Usher around Halloween every year.

What do you think? Are there certain books you’ve read more than once?
