Release Day for Dagon

New Release: Dagon

Dagon

A reclusive demon meets his fated mate…

When I see a boat approaching my private island, I swim out to investigate. No one can invade my sanctuary. I plan to throw them off course–until I discover what’s happening on board. A man is accosting a woman. I shift into a giant sea serpent and destroy his boat in my fury.

There’s something is different about the woman I rescue. I can’t hear her thoughts the way I do with other humans. It’s refreshing after all the selfish nonsense I’ve had to endure from others.

I bring her to my island and discover she’s my fated mate. When she recovers, our connection is strong. I invite her to stay and explore, and she agrees to do so for a few days.

That’s not long enough. She’s the one–the one who can free me from my obligations to hunt. She can’t leave me–even if I have to force her to stay.

𝐀𝐬 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐒𝐨 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰.

The hunt is on. Six demonic brothers, sworn by evil to maintain the balance of nature by eliminating the creatures that bring chaos to it. Driven only by their primal instincts to find their mates so they can protect, possess, and procreate with them. Only a blood moon eclipsing through the night sky will seal their bond and free them to chase their new prey. They’re cruel, dominating sinners with hardened souls, immense power and dynamic presences that won’t let anything stop them from finding and claiming their destiny.

Weddings – Happy Times or Stressful Occasions?

I’m getting ready for a family wedding and am giddy with excitement. I can’t wait to celebrate with my family and my brother’s fiancee’s. We will dine, drink, and dance all night!

However, weddings aren’t always so happy and carefree. Many of art of us have been to–or been part of–some stressful ones, which could be for any number of reasons. That’s the basis for my short romance, Better than Cake. Stephanie and Johnny are away for the weekend for a wedding and things don’t go as planned

Better than Cake

Better-than-cakeAfter the worst fight of their relationship, the last place Stephanie wants to be is a wedding reception. She still can’t get over what happened. Could their five years of marriage be destroyed after a blast of heated words? Johnny suggested separating. Separating! Now with her marriage on the line, she has to put on a brave face and pretend love is grand.

Johnny doesn’t know why he’d freaked out the way he had and is left with one emotion. Regret. He doesn’t want to lose Stephanie. He must find her and make things right.

Stephanie enters the reception, fearing the end of her marriage. Johnny has something else in mind—a much more decadent proposal that will turn her friend’s wedding into an event they’ll never forget.

Reviews

“A beautiful short story over how something bad can be turned into something nice.”

“A great short story. I really liked the story, the wedding excited them and I liked how it ended as well. It was fun and a quick witty and naughty story.”

“A delightful short story that shows the impact words can make but how love, determination, and forgiveness can right the wrong.”

Cover Reveal: Betrayed: A Ghost Story #ghoststory #shortstory

Here’s a new cover of Betrayed: A Ghost Story, part of my series Bed, Breakfast, and Betrayal of short suspense stories.

Betrayal

Once thinking it was a curse, Sybil Channing now uses her gift to communicate with spirits as a lucrative way to make a living. She dubs herself a ghost whisperer and plays up her role as an eccentric woman who can talk to the dead. When she receives a call from a bed and breakfast with an issue with a ghost, Sybil thinks it will just be another easy, nice-paying gig. Sure, there’s a bit of a mystery about women becoming ill, but nothing to scare her off. Yet when she arrives, what she encounters is far more dangerous than she anticipated.
